Parental transmission of endowments and shock exposure to the next generation

**Short Description:** This project aims to contribute to the empirical literature on intergenerational mobility by mitigating problems of miss-allocation of treatment status and providing the opportunity to exploit more variation in parental characteristics that potentially transmit to the next generation.

**Methodological Details:** The respondents were asked about the places of birth of their parents.
